An Oldfields Christmas tale
Monday 15th December 2025
We’re once again pleased to be spreading some festive cheer with the release of our latest Christmas video, a light-hearted production blending humour, adventure, and the true spirit of customer service.
The new film, which has already been viewed more than 10,000 times online, follows us as the team finally receives the call they have been waiting for.
News comes in that Santa is unable to drop off his sleigh in person, prompting garage owner Tim Benson to set off on an over-the-top mission to collect it before Christmas.
What unfolds is a fast-paced journey involving cars, trains, an aeroplane, and even a helicopter, with Tim travelling far beyond the workshop while the team back in Leominster prepares for the sleigh’s arrival.
Along the way, staff members appear on screen in festive costumes, with familiar local locations and plenty of humour helping bring the story to life.
Tim said: “We had an amazing time making this year’s video. It’s a fun way to say thank you to our customers and the local community who support us throughout the year.
“Everyone gets involved, and we try to show that even though we like to have a laugh, we always go the extra mile for the people who rely on us.”
The video was filmed at Oldfields Garage on Leominster’s Enterprise Park and nearby locations, with team members, their families, and friends helping behind the scenes.
The festive film demonstrates our modern workshop capabilities, showing diagnostic work, driver assistance calibration equipment, and the team preparing the sleigh for its Christmas Eve journey.
Shobdon Airfield-based Tiger Helicopters supported the production, providing the helicopter for the epic journey and scenes set in Santa’s grotto.
Fred Perry, business development manager at Tiger Helicopters said: “It was a pleasure to work with Oldfields Garage for their latest Christmas video.
“Being part of a project that celebrates local talent, festive fun, and community spirit really made it a memorable experience for everyone involve.”
Specialist parts, tools, and support were generously provided by a wide range of industry partners, including automotive charity BEN, HELLA and Hella Gutmann, Pagid, MANN-FILTER, OSRAM, Ring, On The Ramp, Garage Hive, DCL, Castrol, and The Race Group.
We have enjoyed a landmark 2025, being named national Garage of the Year in June and a ‘Top Garage’ for the second time in November.
We also completed a major workshop expansion to better accommodate electric vehicles, motorhomes, and commercial vehicles, and hosted a hugely popular community family fun day in the summer, raising funds for St Michael’s Hospice and the ELY Memorial Fund.
